Committed to Good Governance for Roselle
David Pileski is a fourth-generation resident of Roselle, deeply rooted in the community. Raised in Roselle's village center where he now lives with his wife, children, and rescue dog, David embodies the town's spirit. He actively maintains their historic home and tends to his gardens, echoing his family’s long-standing tradition of preserving our community.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is currently advancing his education in Northwestern University’s Masters of Public Policy and Administration program. Professionally, he serves as a Supply Chain Senior Manager for a Fortune 100 company, leveraging data to optimize operations and support customer’s critical needs.
Elected Mayor in 2021, David previously served as Village Trustee and was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals. His tenure as Mayor has been marked by proactive leadership, successfully addressing $80 million in unfunded infrastructure mandates, reimagining zoning ordinances, and implementing transparent TIF policies. He actively contributes to the DuPage County Mayors and Managers Conference and DuPage County Convention and Visitors Bureau and supports various local non-profits, including the Roselle Community Food Pantry, Roselle Arts and Culture Foundation, and Lake Park Educational Foundation, among others.
David is committed to fostering consensus and implementing resident-focused solutions that reflect the community’s values and needs. David believes in solving issues for the long term instead of settling for partial solutions.
